searching for clever way to tell family (at thanksgiving dinner)

| Congratulations OP!! We announced DC #1 at Thanksgiving dinner, and did it like this: As folks were saying their cheers/thanks, I turned to the hostess (sister-in-law) and ended my thanks with saying, "You thought you were making dinner for 17, but it's really 18." Took a few moments for everyone to get it, but it was fun. What happy news to be able to share! |
