My 13 yr old is currently watching Blue Bloods with us, but he prefers military/historical/scientific shows.

Every kid around 13-15 should binge watch Band of Brothers.

I recently watched the all 10 (?) seasons of Friends with my high school sophomore, who just turned 16. We both really enjoyed it. (I found some episodes were LOL funny.) But there is so much sex talk. I mean, SO MUCH. I don't think I would recommend for a middle schooler.

OTOH, I didn't mind my middle schooler watching Modern Family, which certainly has plenty of sexual innuendo in it. So YMMV.

Our family is so sad Modern Family is over! It was a great show to watch together.

Cobra Kai.

I was just going to post about this show. It's on YouTube TV -- get a trial subscription. It's ADDICTING. We watch it as a family and our kids always beg to watch another episode right away. It's a follow-up to the Karate Kid. So adults like it, kids like it. Great story lines, lots of action, drama, heart. THere's bad language but I let my 8 year old watch it.

There are some pretty gristly scenes in turn.

My 11 and 14 yr old like "Cells at Work" on netflix.

It is an anime set in the human body where the characters are different types of cells. It is pretty accurate scientifically if you imagine people as cells and a human body as a large city.

Gravity Falls. It’s a cartoon but really good. My Stranger Things obsessed tween loves it and does my older teenager. Also Raising Dion on Netflix.

I was just about to post Gravity Falls! I watched it with my son and we both loved it.
