Do you ever use a real camera anymore?

I print out my iPhone pics with no issue. I scrapbook. I haven’t used a real camera since 2011.

No. I don't even know where my camera is.

I have a college age son that just left on a 2 week adventure trip (canoeing and hiking in some national parks) through his university, and part of the rules are you aren't allowed to bring your cell phone. We had to go out and buy him a camera (those are allowed) so he could take photos.

It's been about ten years since I last used anything besides my phone to take pictures. I was always terrible about getting photos developed. Digital cameras solved that problem for me. I could just email them to people. The iPhone came out, and I could send them straight from the phone. I haven't looked back since.

When people ask to see photos of something, I pull up an album on my phone.

I have a DSLR, that I use on vacations, and special events. Once in a while I'll take candid photos of my kids, but I mostly use my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy s9, and the pics turn out really well, especially in natural lighting. I've never had any issues with printing photos from my phone, either. Sounds like you need to check your camera settings.

All the time. It’s not a DSLR, but it has a 40x optical zoom, which obviously my iPhone camera does not. I take it with me hiking for nature photography, pics of my kids. I can’t get a decent photo of a woodpecker 30 feet up a tree with an iPhone. I also take it if we visit a museum or the zoo.

Our DSLR is too heavy to bring to everything, but the quality is much better than my iPhone X. I like the idea of portrait mode but it does weird thing to skin tone sometimes
