What should I watch on HBO?

Did you read Big Little Lies? I read it and watched the first season. I’m glad I watched the first season but I have no desire to watch more.

Should I watch VEEP?

I was a latecomer to Veep and I’m sad it’s ending. It’s really fast paced humor, the most filthy language I’ve ever heard on a tv show, and really cynical about American politics, in a funny way. If none of those things turn you off you’ll probably love it. Tony Hale alone is worth watching!

Watch The Act on Hulu and then Mommy Dead and Dearest on HBO. I got sucked in last week and it's just about the strangest and most twisted thing I ever saw. It's about Munchaussen's By Proxy.

I’m exited for the Chernobyl series.

OP, some of the HBO series are available on Amazon Prime, like The Wire, so use your HBO subscription for things that are still exclusive to it.

The Night Of is just amazing--wish I could re-watch and have the same feeling as when I watched the first time.

I enjoy Divorce, there are 2 seasons so far.

I watched Leaving Neverland and the Oprah interview after; very interesting.

The Inventor was another good doc. I'm going to check out Mommy Dead and Dearest right now.

Similiar OP, with GoT

I'm debating on True Detective. Good reviews but attention went elsewhere after 10 minutes of first episode.

NP. Would you say 'the night of' is depressing? I am interested but have enough bringing me down in real life, lol.

Rome is great, and only has a few seasons.

I really loved it and Riz Ahmed is one of my favorites, but like a lot of shows that take a look at the U.S. criminal justice system, it is depressing.

Rome was awesome.

Here are my top favorites:

Deadwood
The Wire - David Simon
Treme - also by David Simon
Entourage - frothy fun
Big Little Lies
Boardwalk Empire
Ballers - frothy fun
The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency - only did one season but it was beautiful.
Sex and The CIty - classic - dated but still fun
True Blood
Vinyl - uneven but if you like good music - fun.

epitafios. In Spanish and only 1 season if I remember, but even with English subtitles, it is an awesome thriller.

If tell me you love me is still available, that too.

I really enjoyed the first season of Succession. Sort of an upscale soap opera about a wealthy feuding NYC family, with excellent performances from most of the cast.
