Another interesting fact: In the mid 90s, Trump still owed BT most of what they’d loaned him so he couldn’t have repaid much when you were there in the early 90s. |
| Is there ever a moment when you all sit back and think that using criminal prosecutions to hound political opponents is a terrible thing to do? Or just nah, because you lack the ability to think long term. |

A Trump supporter is the last person who can talk about thinking long term, or criticizing the use of criminal prosecutions to hound political opponents. GTFOH. |

Nah. He's a criminal. He did this to himself. |

I find using criminal investigations to investigate corrupt criminals is highly appropriate, actually. Trump: tax criminal. Campaign finance criminal. |

Well mercy me. Obviously it's not a terrible thing to do when the politicians in question are criminals. Why should they be let off the hook for their criminal behavior? p.s. the people who can't think long term are those who aren't doing anything now to save the environment for our descendents, because they're too focused on their life here and now. Just sayin' |

It’s remarkable how all of you are able to somehow determine—without any investigation evidence—that Donald Trump is a criminal. You’re the worst, most destructive kind of partisans. Blinded by your rage. Unable to conceive of any good that doesn’t involve advancing your party. Utterly brainless. |
| Without any evidence LOL |

Once again, you, as a Trump supporter, are the absolute last person who can say anything about determining anyone's criminality without any evidence. |

Well that's why there IS an investigation, duh. But seriously. Do you NEVER read the news? Donald Trump has an entire history of corrupt behavior. He founded a university that was shut down as fraudulent. There are dozens and dozens of contractors out there he stiffed - would you like me to list articles that cite them? Moreover he lies constantly, incessantly, malignantly. He has surrounded himself with felons and shady characters his entire life. In fact it seems like if you're an honest broker he has absolutely no use for you. Check out the story on his beloved lawyer Roy Cohn, who got disbarred for unethical conduct. Yet Trump holds him up as an ideal lawyer, in part because he "never" took notes. And then of course there's the fact that he refuses to let anyone see his tax returns. What shady things are in them? And have you read up on the charges against the wider Trump family when it came to their inheritence, the tax schemes they concocted to avoid paying their fair share? Here, you read this and tell me that your president is as honest as the day as long. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/10/02/us/politics/donald-trump-tax-schemes-fred-trump.html My god Trump is the paradigm of unethical character. |

Did you get tired of saying "any day now" after saying it for 2 years? |

Have you READ The Mueller Report? No? Didn't think so. Bet you've never read anything longer than four pages. What's remarkable is how daft you Trumpsters are. |

Remind me...did the Mueller report conclude that Donald Trump committee any crimes? Oh, what's that? It didn't? Well, that's very interesting. And, you know what, that part about "not exonerating" the president is irrelevant. Prosecutors don't "exonerate" people. They decide whether or not to charge them based on the evidence, and here, it appears that the Mueller team didn't think it had the evidence to recommend charges. Again, you and your compatriots need to stop. You are harmful to this country. |

No, you need to stop. That is not what the Mueller report said. Stop lying. Your lies are what is harmful to the country. You need to stop. |

As the PP pointed out, you’re wrong. But Rod Rosenstein made some comments tonight that are in themselves another good rebuttal. “If lawyers cannot prove our case in court, then what we believe is irrelevant. But in politics, belief is the whole ball game. In politics – as in journalism – the rules of evidence do not apply. That is not a critique. It is just an observation.” |
