Kaiser Breast Pumps?

I just dropped the money on the spectra myself after struggling with the purely yours. It’s absolutely worth digging into savings for.

Just tried the Ameda tonight. What a truly worthless P.O.S. Immediately bought myself a second Spectra so that I can leave one at work and keep one at home.

I've used the Ameda from Kaiser three times so far and it's been fine. I like that it is compact and has the option to put batteries in if you don't want to plug it in. Pretty simple to use as well. Amazon reviews suggest it stops working after a while so we'll see how long it lasts.

I had to return it after a month and tried really hard with all the reasons to keep it longer but it was a no go. I switched to the Ameda and even though the transition sucked, I got use to it. I was able to pump at work and exclusively breastfeed until my son was 15 months old. It may work well for you, I’d try it first before buying something else.

Same here... I got to rent the Symphony for a month because DS wasn't gaining weight quickly enough, but then switched over to the freebie Ameda that I got from Kaiser when the rental period was up. The Ameda worked fine for me; actually, it worked better in terms of milk output than the Symphony. But it was so LOUD. I came to dread turning it on because of that loud honking noise it made.

I only ended up BF'ing until DS was 5 months for various reasons, but if I had chosen to go longer, I probably would've used HSA money to spring for the Symphony or a quieter pump.
