Are these even names? Jaithen and Abagayle

I haven’t heard of an Abigail in years! I use to have a student with that name and we called her Abbie. I agree with other pp, Jaithen is how you pronounce Jason with a lisp. Please don’t do that to your baby.

Jaithen sounds like an anglicized Indian Hindu name to me.

My friends have a son named Jason. The dad has a speech impediment and calls him Jaythen. Why give your baby a name that sounds like it is being lisped on purpose?

Are you joking or are you being serious? I can’t really tell. It seems inconceivable that three different sets of parents in one school made this choice, but names have gotten really strange.
