Lower teams at BSC are NOT worth it unless you live near the field. BSC is:
DA Blue Green White Orange? I would not play for BSC at Green or below unless it is where kids friends are playing or convenient commuting wise. |
| My DD has attended ID sessions (not at Bethesda) and they are just a practice. If the coach thinks your DD sucks he will tell you to work on things or try for a lower team or basically not to bother anymore. If he likes your DD he will have you keep coming but they can’t guarantee you a slot until official try-outs. |
It’s blue white on the girls side. Is it different with the boys? |
| Yes. |
| They aren’t allowed to give offers until after May 1 in ECNL-problem is, tryout dates are all over the place in different clubs (MCLEAN begins in early May for example) while BSC is in mid May. |
Isn't there Red for some age groups too? Would that be below Orange? |
Anything below White only usually applies to U11 or below. Generally BSC is DA, Blue, Green, and White for boys. DA and Blue will always be good at every age but Green and White are highly dependent on the coach and kids that make up that team. |
