Museum BD party parking

The elevators are right there. We opt to use those with our little ones. Easy peasy.

Since you clearly know that Uber and metro exist, why would going to suburbs require you to rent a car?

-- person who doesn't drive due to a medical issue (so renting a car isn't an option) and still managed to get my kid to all the birthday parties he wanted to go to.

It's nice that metro is an option, but I doubt many people coming from Arlington would choose it over a 20-30 minute drive in. Needing to take two lines on a weekend will almost certainly take longer, before you even factor in time to get to the Metro. And even two roundtrip metros would cost about the same as parking, more if you found a spot on the street, and the cost difference really tips towards driving if you are a family of 4.

This. Parking near the museum is usually really easy on a Sunday morning.
