That's incorrect. I know coaches that played professionally and still had to go get their "A" license. I'm not saying having an A license actually means anything, because often times it doesn't. I've seen some pretty lousy coaches over the years with their A license.

That might’ve been true 10 years ago but those waivers are no longer given. Who is the best coach in NOVA with a D license?

look at a license as a teaching certificate. Does it mean you are a good teacher? no. Does it mean you have taken a certification course? yes. Is that person a good coach? judge by their results.
