How often do you go to McDonalds and what do you order?

I can't remember the last time I was at a McDonalds. It was undoubtedly on a road trip. I think I got tea and maybe an egg mcmuffin. I only go when there are no other options - usually every 2-5 years or so.

I'm not counting just using the bathroom, which is more typical on a road trip.

A few times a year. Either a Big Mac meal or a Quarter Pounder meal. My kids would go every week if they had their way. Usually it's when we're road tripping or a day when I am just beat and not up to cooking.

Do people have favorite McDonad's? I just go to the one closest to my house or that I'm driving past.

We live by the Reston McTacoHut. An occasional caramel sundae with the kids.

I usually get a regular cheeseburger and a smoothie. I only go on the road or sometimes at O'Hare airport because the McD is next to the gates the DCA flights usually take off from. So maybe 4-6 times a year.

Roughly 1 every few months for a sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin WELL DONE, which was something I learned here on DCUM, and it tastes so good.

A couple times during Lent. The fish sandwich with no cheese light tarter sauce and a small coke no ice.

This is the only time the fish sandwich is fresh. No ground beef or sausage for me - I had bone chunks mixed in - yuck

I used to get fries once a year and let my kid get a Shamrock shake once a year. Then I started making fries at home and would make her a mint chip shake at home. So we stopped going to McDonalds. That was probably about five or six years ago.

Once a week, large Diet Coke for a dollar (well actually 1.10) after my team sport activity.

Three of four times a year: southwest salad and large Diet Coke.

I love the fries but I resist.

Please. There are very few posters on DCUM who haven't driven long distances and been glad to see those golden arches. There is something to be said for the great convenience of a bathroom break, a coffee and a hot apple pie for the road.

Swear to God I went in a suburban location a few months back and intended to get an egg McMuffin and coffee. The folks in there were so f***ing gross and obese and trashy that I walked out before ordering.

Extra instructions to minimum wage plebs is a nice way to get your food f***ed with. Is that well done sandwich worth hepatitis or E. coli?

once every couple of weeks- coffee via drive through. I love their coffee and it's inexpensive and convenient.
