did your DC take his/her own printer to school?

My DS took one. He said he likes the convenience of having it but doesn't use it that much. He stores it under his bed and pulls it out when he needs to print something.

DD (current college senior) took one and has used it a lot last 3.5 years. It worked out well for DD.

One did and one refused to (I'm still not sure why).....the latter knucklehead rings up charges that we pay for from the university.
