I also agree. The bonus is that the bathrooms are much nicer, no one likes to use a nasty pit style toilet that hasn't been cleaned in a month! |
I am interested in seeing what happens too. We know that ECNL is not for us because of the time suck and I am curious to see if StJames put together something competitive. It is a great location for those of us who live off Braddock. |
| I think we're all interested and hoping that it's a good program which is well-executed and priced reasonably. Details have been pretty scant, though, so skepticism remains. |
So far the coaching staff is unimpressive. There’s nothing about that place that makes me think their program will be cost friendly. |
Lol @ Bryce Murray. Go watch him train and get back to us. |
I would like to hear someone tell us the name of ONE quality coach that is CURRENTLY training soccer at the SJ. ONE. |

Just for reference:
Skills classes are offered by the St. James coaching staff at a (member) rate of $272 for 8 hours, or $34/hr. A little pricey, and again, that's the member rate. When they brought in the volleyball club (Arlington Elite), I believe that they hired the coaches and kept the existing club organization and fee structure in place for at least the next year or two. A little different with soccer, as they'll be putting two year groups into one team. I'll take my kids over for the tryouts; why not? |
did you attend tryouts ? were any more details provided ? |
PP here. No, haven't gone yet. |
