How do you not lose the Air Pods? Is it remotely imaginable that my teenager who breaks or loses every pair of headphones of every size/shape/style could somehow manage to avoid disaster with these? |
My review: -The company is legit. It took about 7 days from placing the order to the BlVckPods being shipped out. The CEO even emailed me when I inquired about a status update. The shipping itself took only 2-3 days. -The black rubber material is very nice and soft, allows you to get a firmer grip. More comfortable in my ear than DW's white and hard plastic AirPods from Apple. -The Bluetooth signal is a bit weak. You need to maintain direct line of sight between the BlvckPods and your phone. I wear a helmet on my bike to work and the sound kept cutting out of the left ear. I was gardening yesterday, with my iPhone in my front pocket. The sound would cut out, if I bent over and my body blocked the signal on my phone. -Similar to the AirPods, the BlVckPods also have touch sensitive features. These are a bit spotty and don't always work correctly. DW doesn't use this feature at all on her official AirPods, so I don't really see the benefit here. -The battery life is about 2.5 hours of active use (phone or music) before you need to recharge the BlvckPods. The case itself acts as a charging base, which great for when you're on the go. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Totally worth $40. If you're just using these in your office for work calls, they operate perfectly. I also took them to the gym this weekend and had zero issues. Again, you need a direct line of sight between the phone and your head. I need to do more comparison with DW's EarPods to test the difference in touch functions and Bluetooth strength. |
I've had this LG bluetooth headset for two years, using it nearly every day. Love it.
