So true! This person/these people know themselves and enjoyed their house and made it their own.

I like the way we can see her shoes! All those ladies shoes and one pair of men's shoes.

I had meant to post something on this last week.

Looks to me like they said everyone in the family gets one room to decorate in his/her taste and no need to match the style of any other room.

Pretty much what I was imagining.

Something about those doors in picture #2 reminds me of when Alice is trying to get in all the locked doors in Wonderland.

Sorry, meant photo #3

I kind of love it. I wouldn't do this to my house but it's so
happy and eclectic.

They seem to really enjoy fake plants.

The whole thing reminds me of cross between Alice in Wonderland and the Shining!

It's super creepy... especially that playroom.
It gave me the heebeejeebees.

Can you imagine staying in that house at night all by yourself?
Or walking it room by room in the dark?
Every little noise would send me running for the door! lol

Thank you, OP.

I actually thought it was supposed to be a Truffula tree from The Lorax. Whole house is awesome, bless these folks.

What up with the bathroom in pictures 24-25? The curtains look like there is a shirt hanging from the rods. And they entire wall is a mirror. But they put a decorative frame (made of mirror) above the sink.

But I love the wood wall in pictures 66-68.

And the galley kitchen does the house no favors.

That kitchen takes the term "galley kitchen" to a new level - ahoy matey!

Word.

I have to wonder if whatever was going on decor-wise in the first bedroom (pic 29) was so outrageous that the listing agent was like, you have to change that.

I also must know what is on the fancy sign on front door! (pic 80).

And that bedroom in the basement (pic 71) looks like a room where you'd imprison someone you kidnapped.

Other than that - I really love it and if money were no object I'd snap it up! I might even keep some of the toile.

My thoughts exactly.
Alice in Wonderland meets The Shining is a perfect descriptor -- and here' I thought I was the only one completely creeped out.

Btw, for the pp that made the comment about the palm tree painted in the stairwell, the tree reminds me of the people living on the puff from Horton hears a Who, lol.
