Rush has different options but the 06 MRM Coyotes team is one of the strongest in the country and will only take the best of the best. Which Classic team? Is the coach known to react negatively to players leaving to pursue other options?

Gary Burke is the 09 Girls’ coach at Bethesda. He is terrific and is also an import from Europe. The top team is not that good but it will get weeded out over the next couple years. Just a lot of parents who are paying for a baby sitter rather than soccer training now...a good time to get in and get your kid established at an early age. If you don’t mind the extra drive, look at either Maryland United or FCV depending where you are in MoCo.

Recommend a team for 2008 kid coming from PPA (is not a super star but a strong player) with parents who can’t/don’t want to drive too far from Bethesda for practices!

Bethesda is you are a sucker looking to easily part with your money.

FC Bordeaux is a better place for development. Bethesda is for kids who can play at any club in the area, which means that your kid can play on the top team. If not, go else whereas the training is not great below the A team.

Are all the soccer players in Churchill from Travel teams? I ask because some parents do not want to/able to support travel but the kids are strong players-do they get an opportunity to play in their HS?

Yes, that's right, any kid can make the Boys' DA team or Girls ECNL teams. This is one of the dumbest posts ever...

DD's friend is on Churchill JV and I asked this question. The answer was yes--mostly from Bethesda but some from Potomac and elsewhere. But this is just a kid reporting informally. I don't know if it's 100% true. I do know, though, that it is very tough to make the soccer team.
