How much should car detailing cost?

I paid $200 last time, and the guy spent at least 5 hours working on my minivan. Well worth it.

Detailing can mean lots of different things. I would price the work by the hour relative to what I thought was fair pricing.

That’s a fair price if your car needs a lot of love ( deep staining, carpet upholstery shampooing, etc. I’d remove everything out of the car first to get my money’s worth.

Just make sure you’re clear on what to expect. Try Groupon too and read the reviews.

Did that include engine?

Good wax job is very time consuming. Decent deep clean with wax for $200 is more than fair.

Anonymous wrote:$200 is a flyby detail. $1K is more like it for a "deep clean". This involves a complete wash, clay, tape, 2-3 stage paint correction, followed by a high degree sealant.

They are talking about interior.

I now have a black luxury car and I plan to visit the gtown place again soon.

Where in Georgetown? What’s the name?

where can you get a deep clean?

I would say below 250 and I take what I get. Above 250 and before I pay I walk the entire car inside and out to make sure nothing was missed
