I guess readers here avoid a good portion of hip hop music.

It's used so much in music these days and everyday conversation. I dont think she should resign. Just vote her out of office when the time comes for reelections.

You and your family and friends use the n-word in “everyday conversation”? Really?

A single mistake of this kind (ie, not illegal) may not be enough, depending on how she handles it. Every dumbass comment does not warrant a resignation. Multiple dumbass comments over time are a different story. We Democrats must hold accountable ourselves but must be fair and reasonable in our approach. We can be sure that the Republican tribe would do neither.

This is white liberalism in a nutshell, y’all.

Look, let us deal with our own racists. But don’t even try to pretend republicans have even a leg to stand on here.

Given that democrats have historically been the party of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, and opposed the voting rights act, by comparison, the republicans have so many legs to stand on they look like a table.

Has her name had an (R) behind it would you say she had to resign?

Yes or No?

I'm fairly confident the answer is yes. I think she should resign, especially since it was descriptive of PG county. She should be ashamed of her self.

Those “democrats” you mention became the modern Republican Party.

Nice try at cherry picked history.

The modern republicans wear their racism proudly. They didn’t condemn Steve King and defended the racist in chief when he babbled about “very fine” neo nazis.

Hmm...... let's review, shall we?

Following Steve King's remarks, the REPUBLICANS unanimously voted on a resolution condemning his remarks and NAMED him in the resolution. Steve King even voted for it. The only one who voted no was a Democrat. Guess he is a racist?

As for Trump's remarks, let's see what he REALLY" said and not what the media has portrayed..........

Oh please, Steve King has been making racist remarks for years without any problems, and then the dog whistle got a little too loud so Republicans got called out and felt they had no choice.

Would you also care to explain why Mitch McConnell is such a big fan of the Confederate flag now, esp. since Kentucky was never part of the Confederacy?

She still hasn't resigned.

Yeah, I do. Because it’s often vulgar, offensive to women, and filled with “n*gga” every other line of the song. So yes, I avoid listening to that. It’s gross.

Stiiiiiiiiiiill hasn't resigned.

Well, I guess she's a woman of her word. She said she wouldn't, and she meant it!

She’ll win re-election

Calling it now.
