But...the artistic training...
People here do serious sports/academics all the time, why make fun of serious artistic commitment? Finding it hard to respect other's value?

At 4 yrs old? No. Twisting up your life to make an enrichment class happen for a 4 yr old because of the need for consistent "artistic training" or "athletic training" or "academic training" at that age is ridiculous.

Finding a solution for transportation is “twisting up life” now?
That’s a bit dramatic.

Sorry, but if you WOH a traditional schedule, you don’t sign your 4 year old up for a regular after school class off site! How else do you think it’s going to work out?

Parktakes...search by location- Springhill rec ctr. Select sat & sunday to narrow the search even more.
Done.

Previous posters have recommended friends, ride share with classmate and nanny. I will try those and you can stop being mean now

NP. I don’t think PP is being mean, just realistic. This is usually something you figure out BEFORE signing your kid up for a class you aren’t available to get them to.

To be honest, if you work a regular schedule, you confine your extracurriculars to weekend days. That's just how it is.

We all gave up on the elusive reliable affordable after-school driving sitter. It's fun to watch you give up too.

Please be more realistic about the expectations you have of the artistic nature of dance classes at 4 if you don't want people to be mean.

There are lots of activities that would be great for my kids but just don't work for our family. The good news is your child can do dance elsewhere now, and go back to your first choice when she's the right age for weekend classes.

I would look for a dance class in the evening or weekend.

Take your kids out of daycare and get a full-time nanny. We went the nanny route so that our kids could do their activities during the week and leave the weekends for family time. This is continuing next year with the start of K. It just makes life a lot easier.
