Does BFing really cause saggy breasts?

My understanding of the science is that it's the number of pregnancies and not breastfeeding that causes sagging (plus age, smoking, serious weight changes and other risk factors).

I was a small B and perky. Pregnancies at age 28 and 31, no change. Third pregnancy at age 34 - boom, barely made it to an A cup after 2 months of BF. Complete deflation.

Now I'm a perfect size c thanks to a wonderful surgeon!

I only have my own experience. 3 pregnancies, didn’t BF more than a week total among them. My DDs are basically like they’ve always been. Not quite as perky as when I was 22, but they’re not saggy.

It's mostly pregnancy, and aging, and genetics.

Age 40, started as A, BF 2 babies for a total of 4 years. I weigh 15 lbs more than I did pre-kid. Boobs are small again though not as small as they were, and still up high.

I breastfed one at age 42-43 for 15 month. Was 34D before pregnancy, now a 36DD because I need to lose weight, but breast are still perky. I have really dense tissue, like a normal screening mammogram is basically useless for me because they are so dese.

No mine look the same. They're a D cup so they weren't ever super perky, but they don't sag. I have bfed for 18 months and now am on month 9 of my 2nd baby.

On my mom's group another woman talks a lot about her misshapen, saggy A cups. I have zero clue what she's talking about. She's called them dog ears. I don't know if she needs plastic surgery or what happened, but I don't think it's normal. She even says other moms stare at hers.

It did for me. My breasts did not change at all during pregnancy. They completely changed after I stopped breastfeeding. So bad that one was much smaller than the other and began pointing to the right. :/ I was a 34/A

BFd three kids for a year each. Before pregnancy was a saggy B, now I am an extra saggy small A. I didn’t even know boobs this small could be saggy. It’s depressing (I’m skinnier than I was before pregnancy thanks to a chronic health condition I’ve developed so the size change is at least partly due to that.)

OP here. You sound like me! Always had small boobs but they were at least perky! Was sad to see my barely Bs shrink to a not so perky A. I plan on purchasing small Cs as well when I have the money to do so.

I was a B, BF for two months before giving up, now a AA (barely) and saggy.

And the nipples.....ugh. They are loooong and droopy.

I think it's mostly genetics and density of breast tissue. I have extremely dense breasts and I went from a 32B to a 32DD, but they are still standing strong.

I would say no. Gravity and age do the trick!

Some of the best money I've ever spent. Zero regrets.

BF 1 kid (maybe 50%) for 10-11 mos, small A pre-preg, immediately postpartum maybe a C, settled at a small B. No sagging but I am small. Nipples are definitely a little pointier in profile view, but went back to lighter color when my period returned 9 mos pp. now currently pregnant and boobs are heavy B. Fingers crossed they don’t sag after

Before I got pregnant, I was a B cup. Got to a C cup while pregnant and breastfeeding. Now I'm more like an A. They're not saggy, but I would love for them to be a little bigger. Not enough to do surgery, but it would be nice.
