Kids sharing room

My kids have sweet memories of sharing a room. One would wake the other up by throwing his stuff animals at her, though then surprised that she didn't throw them back.

Same ages/experience for our kids. They really love sharing a room (at least for now, at 4 and 7!) And I love listening to their conversations as they're falling asleep at night. My older one has moved into chapter books and is allowed to read for about half an hour with a small light after the younger one goes to bed on the bunk below. Younger child recently asked if older one could please read aloud so he could fall asleep to the story. Love the bond they have, in part as a result of sharing a room (also out of necessity for us).

NP, I’m so happy to read this thread. We are considering moving our boys (18 months and 3.5) to one room once the youngest is closer to 2. They are pretty wild together (I’m constantly breaking up wrestling matches), but hopefully with a good bedtime routine we can get them settled in together. They really do love each other and have fun together.

My three-year-old daughter became very afraid to sleep alone after her older brother frightened her. It was very difficult to get her back to her room. She cried and was afraid of the dark. I was rescued by a moon lamp. She was very interested and she slept with this night light. It is very interesting - https://geeklah.com/best-moon-lamp.html
