+1 because my kid's daily average of fruits is 0-1 and veggies is 0. But he'll refuse them and request more bread. Now wondering if I'm doing it wrong. |

There are so many days where my 5 yo appears to survive on air -- I wish she would eat a chicken nugget -- that I would be thrilled to feed her a PB&J after a completed dinner. |
The answer is "yes." Why is it even a question? What I don't do, however, is giving in to food requests as a bedtime delay tactic. |

I'd wait a few minutes, personally. My kid will often ask for seconds and then a few minutes later realize she is full and if I gave her more she wouldn't even eat it. She is off the chart for weight so I try to make sure she is truly hungry before giving her more food. But if your child is underweight or very rarely asks for more, your analysis might be different. |
