Aftercare at deal?

I see lots of Deal kids hanging out at Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Panera etc after school. I don't love the idea of them hanging out near a busy intersection, and a metro and with a bunch of high school kids. There's a big difference between being independent at age 11 and 15-18 like the high schoolers which is why I'm asking. I wonder if a lot of the parents who think they're kids are going home or to a friends house are actually hanging out on the corner at Starbucks.

I wish there was a Pizza Hut in tenleytown, but there isn’t.

I think they still have it. They mentioned it at orientation. My kids don’t use it though.
