Yep, he's not your friend. You aren't his friend. Friends do not pine for each other. Friends are happy when their friend is happy. When he finds someone, you will not be happy. You will be heartbroken.

You have to walk away, at least until your feelings change. I will be tough, but the constant hormonal hit isn't good for you. And you really won't miss him. You will miss the idea of him. He is not a good person. He knows you are in love with him and he keeps you around for his ego.
