BMW x3 or Audi Q5

Yes. Be sure to get the 3.0T, otherwise the 2.0T does kind of feel like a VW.

Love my Audi Q5. It's almost 9 years old. I test drove the X5 but felt the Q5 handled better and was more luxurious. The BMW felt very stripped down, and I would have had to spend a lot to get the same options. Fwiw, I also test drove an RDX but that version had blind spots that the Q5 didn't. My Q5 is getting up there and trying to figure out whether to get another Q5 (or maybe test drive the redesigned RDX?)

If you can, hold out for the 2020 Audi Q5 redesign coming out this fall.

I have an X3 but I’ve driven the Q5 also. The X3 drives a bit sportier and the Q5 feels smoother. Both very nice.. I thought they were pretty similar in size. Both have nice tech features.
