It's okay. We all need some time with Daniel Tiger every now and then. Let the toddler watch tv. They'll be okay, and you will too!!

Wow I came on here to ask where the line is between working-mom-of-toddler "I hate this" "I am so bad at this" and depression...and seeing this reminds me I'm ok. I feel this way too and I don't want to run to the meds but at the same time I want to be my best, and which is which can be hard for me to parse.

Anyways, yeah. We're here for you, right next to you. Thank you for raising your hand.

Thank you for your honesty. I am having a really rough day and am trying to not let it ruin the day for my kids. I have no advice, but am right there with you today.

Being a mom is so hard. Only in America do we seem to put it all on moms and then wonder why they crack. Be gentle to yourself.

I am the Mom who would spend 30 minutes trying to console the crying baby, fail miserably, put him in his crib, go outside and scream and cry. 10 minutes later I went back in to pick up the little dude and rock him some more and hope that he settled down. Thankfully, this only happened a few times.

We all have crappy days with our kids. Handle it as best as you can and know that we have all been there.

I understand OP. I have been there with my toddlers too. It’s hard work!! A good cry is always therapeutic though isn’t it?

I hate being the mom who gets flashes of panic when I look at my daughters and think "Oh shit. I have NO IDEA what to say to you."

Luckily, you are never too old for a nice game of I,Spy. Sadly, it was the nanny who gave me that tip.

Thank you again, so good to know I am not alone in feeling this way. Tomorrow is a new day!

As my 7 yr old says, "long distance hug".

Sending a cyber hug ( ). We have all been there and are here for you. I have cried in the shower too wondering when the 3 year old ‘boss’ of the house will give me a break. Hang in there.
