This is the last year of the Volt, Chevy is giving up on it, but I'm still hearing good things about the Bolt.

There was an enthusiastic Bolt owner, as well as someone saying it wouldn't be the end of the world to buy a Volt this year (I also was wary since they're discontinuing production).
The full tax incentive ($7500) on the Chevys expires in March. It's already done for the Tesla and I believe still available with no end date (yet) for the Hyundais.
