Whole Foods Cakes

If you need to serve a large group, Costco's cakes are quite tasty.

I think they are terrible.

Les Delices on Gude Drive in Rockville does out-of-this-world cakes. We got our wedding cake from there as well as our son's baptism cake. Fantastic!

I HATE Costco cakes. But some people love 'em. Get the kind YOU like -- you may be stuck with the leftovers!

I just bought the cappucino cake for my husband. The creme is about 95 percent butter. That's about 2 inches of butter in each slice. I will send Whole Foods a letter now.

Whole Foods Black and White cake is super delish! Available at Kentlands location, not available at Rockville. Their bakeries vary depending on the stores.

Giant on arlington rd in bethesda makes great cakes. agree with pp about whole foods cakes.

Disgusting. Bake your own.

I actually really like the strawberries and cream cake. But I LOVE BUTTERcream frosting (as in, mostly butter)

I think the WF bakeries suck in general. I've never had anything that was that great, and stuff costs much more than Giant or Safeway, whose stuff is much better - even the bread.

If you need a cake for a large number of people, Costco is great. Cheap and good!

Pear tart, my favorite!

I don't know how you can compare cakes from Safeway/Giant to cakes from Whole Foods. Blaaa. Whole Foods for cakes all the way!

The WF cakes, etc. are...ok but nothing fantastic.

Really?? I live practically next door. I'll stop in there this weekend! I always drive by, but have never stopped in.
