Similar story happened to my brother. Two years ago, he married his high school sweetheart (and childhood best friend) - both of them are in their 50s. They both went their separate ways after high school, both had been married, had kids, and divorced. They ran into each other through mutual friends after nearly 20 years of not seeing each other. Instant spark again. I've never seen him so happy!
