Will my car start easier in the morning if I run the engine for a few minutes tonight?

Go to start it in the morning, won’t go. Call AAA, get towed, miss my spot, come to find out that driving it that short a time flooded my engine. So I don’t recommend it.

No. Cars are started and stopped like this all the time without mishap. You got ripped off.

No, you idiot, that’s exactly what happened. It was a cold winter night, I flooded the engine. Here’s an explanation for you. https://www.driverknowledgetests.com/resources/flooded-engine/

Before you start calling people names, maybe realize that this isn't really an issue with fuel injected engines. How old was the car you apparently flooded?

If it was merely flooded it would have started by the time tow truck arrived.

Per the article, while it's not common with fuel injected engines, it can happen if it's particularly cold, like it was the night OP posted.
