WTF is Wrong With My DW

Tell your daughter to change her hotel if she can. It sucks but someone needs to put up boundaries with your wife.

There's got to be more to this story.

How do you figure that? Did you read the update? DD has a business trip which she apparently told her mom about. Mom decided to tag along and told OP. OP said that’s not a good idea, and DW dismissed his concerns. OP told DD and she was surprised because her mom hadn’t asked permission or even informed her of her plans.

What more could there possibly be?

Is your wife your daughter’s stepmom OP?

And it sounds like DD doesn’t want that and mom needs to back the hell off.

She's not in HS anymore. Time for mom to back off. And I say that as a mom.

Yeah, well DW still thinks she needs to control what DD does and where she goes and gets pissed when I tell her she’s an adult and let her do her thing.

Wow. Be supportive of your daughter and let her know you are. So many men seem to take the wife’s side just to avoid conflict and the kids feel like they’ve been thrown under a bus.
