What food storage/tupperware do you use and like?

OP here--thanks everyone. I didn't realize that the glass can be frozen--I assumed the food would expand and break the glass (??). I have some glass containers that I use, but the heaviness (DH brings leftovers to work) and breakability worried me.

I use the Glass-Lock containers (glass with lids that lock - sold at Target and Bath, Bed and Beyond) and Pyrex. I find with both I love the none-plastic (leaching chemicals, don't hold smells), but also love them being see through so we don't forget about leftovers as often.

Pyrex is cheaper, but I like Glass-lock more. It stacks really well and the lid locks, meaning less chance of spilling.

I use glass for home storage and sometimes to bring food to work. Heaviness is an issue (depending on the size of container). I've never had a breakage problem with the Glass Lock Containers and I'm not the gentlest soul. I also have some plastic containers from Ikea (365 or something like that) - white with red lids. Not sure about the BPA, I bought them before the news hit. But since they aren't clear, I think that ups the odds they are safer.

Is Tupperware 'Made in USA'? I don't trust the safety of anything China!

Yup, I second the glass stuff. Some have glass tops, some have snap on tops so are easier for transportation issues. They definitely don't stain, don't have BPA issues, and I find that food lasts LONGER in them, especially cheeses and such. Container store or Crate and Barrell. Invest in three different sizes, a couple of each, and no more worries.
