Men : do you care about a woman’s job/career?

Anonymous
Every guy I’ve dated seemed to care, but maybe I’m not hot enough to get away with being uneducated and jobless.

Clearly not my DH who is very pleased he has a wife who pays the whole mortgage with 1/4 of my paycheck.

She's an actress and beauty queen. She got where she is primarily by LOOKING HOT. LMAO at the idea we should respect her "career accomplishments" .

Men will date "hot and broke" but it's foolish to marry it.

This question is frequently asked and the thread is always kinda depressing.

Why? Your job is whatever you do when you’re off at work. Having a better job doesn’t make you a better prospect for girlfriend however.

My male colleagues and friends do care. They are looking for dual-income professional marriages mostly and aren't into "freeloaders." They spend a lot of time around good looking, smart, successful women and look for similar in the women they date.

I think the important piece here is that they are single. They also probably think porn is real sex.

More than just sex. I want a partner with goals and ambitions

Some men really care. Do not marry one of those. My husband said when we were dating that he required his future wife to make at least $100,000 a year. I almost broke up with him. I wish I did.

Just curious, how much does he make?

I would like her to have a career that does not embarrass me

Aka not a stripper or a janitor

Other than that, no

In the last thread, the consensus was kindergarten teacher is the best career

Based on the number of men who bought us drinks and then walked away before they arrived, yes. Some men do not want to date female lawyers.

+1. The kept man thing ain't a bad deal. I'm here messing around on DCUM while the kids sleep as she is grinding away at the office.

“ beauty queen”? She’s is far from it. She’s average looking. Hot women work hard too.
