If you chose private for middle school, over a decent public school, what did you gain?

My son went to Landon for Middle School and the teachers there are really wonderful. It was a good place for him.

Since Landon is on my list, I'll let you guess why Holton isn't. I can go and look at Norwood and WES, I hadn't really considered the K-8 schools.

It is my personal preference. May I suggest that you go on the private school forum and look at what has been written about all of the schools mentioned here on your thread. Also, the tours and open houses are going on right now, so be sure to get a look that way. Best of luck.
