You seem jealous of your sister
How is someone "naturally thin" but has to run 5 miles a day and eat very very little |
| Ditto on passing on this "perfection" life. |
|
I'll spill my secrets:
1) skip meals whenever you can. 2) be clear about your goals: are you trying to get great nutrition, or to be skinny? They aren't one in the same. So all those chia and flax seeds just add calories; skip them. 3) botox. Retinol. 4) lift weights. Cardio won't make you hot. 5) push up bra. Always. |
|
1) Be a kind, empathetic person
2) Get a s good a education as you can. Get a graduate degree, if possible 3) Surround yourself with good people 4) Prioritize sleep 5) Look neat, but don't obsess about it 6) Learn to enjoy a variety of foods, and eat in the pleasure of good company 7) Read the newspaper 8) Take long walks |
| your jealousy smells awful |
OP, grow up and live and let live. |
9). Post smug, superior posts on DCUM about how much better you are than everyone else
|
| Funny - I saw that list of 8 and thought it sounded so much more interesting and satisfying and less stressful than solely focusing on appearance. How it that smug? |
| How is getting sleep, being kind, taking walks and reading the newspaper etc superior? Superior to what? Staying up late, screaming obscenities at people, and not reading anything? |
It's far superior to believing that what makes a woman superior is based solely and primarily on her appearance. It's superior in viewing women as intelligent, moral human beings with a sense of self-worth and agency, rather than supplicants to male fantasies of fake women. |
| I was waiting to get to the bullets in OP's first post where she said something about: super successful career, high income, fantastic kids, great husband, happy marriage, etc. It was truly bizarre to me that she thinks the perfect woman is compromised solely of thick, shiny hair and not eating and being diligent about it. |
| Oh FFS, it is so damaging to women to think that we are supposed to look/be perfect. Do you think men are posting about "secrets of perfect men?" No. Own your wrinkles and extra pounds, stop looking in the mirror, and focus on who you are as a person. |
I had the same thought. I’m naturally thin and run often but eat like a monster. |
X10000 OP, no one takes you seriously, you are too focused on appearances - exactly why you are unhappy and unfulfilled. |
I can assure that you “eating like a monster” is vastly different from someone obese “eating like a monster”. |
