Antagonist (cetrotide) slows the grown of follicle, so having daily shot of cetrotide was likely slowing the growth and contributed to lesser number of "workable" eggs, I believe. U can either inject half the dose/day or every 36 hours (full volume) to lessen the impact of antagonist while still controlling the LH level. U can talk to your RE for next cycle about the use or non-use of antagonist? |
| OP here: the average AMH for 36-40 yrs of age given to me was 1.6, and 41-44 was .5, so I was a little below the average at .8 for age 39. Also, my antral follicle count was 8, so also lower than ideal. But I will ask again during my follow-up appt. |
