Because a lot of people on DCUM hate themselves and revel on in punishing themselves with a bland life. |

Yet they brag about HHI.

Toyota and Lexus are the most boring and overrated vehicles on the market. Sure they are reliable but that is because they use the most outdated tech.
The Sequoia is so outdated and unappealing compared to the Chevrolet Tahoe and the Ford Expedition. |
A turbo 4 and an NA V8 build power differently. If you had a vbox you would see the acceleration times would be the same (Ascent would probably even have the edge). You comparing a car-based crossover like the Ascent to the body-on-frame SUVs you listed which just cements the fact that you have no idea WTF you're talking about. -RR and a Lexus SUV driver who likes cars and knows BS when he reads it |
I'm not the one who brought up car-based SUV's into a conversation about truck-based platforms. I don't know what I'm taking about? Really? How many SBC's have you rebuilt? Because I've built three in the last decade. You think you know cars because you read Motor Trend or Automobile. I know cars because I rebuild them. You're a guppy trying to argue with a shark. Get lost. |
| I've built 3 space shuttles in my garage. I also have a super hot wife and make $12m/year. Get lost old man. |
My $$$ is on old dude. Old Man Strength. That sh!t's for realz! |
| The Toyota Sequoia is due for an update. It is very dated compared to the Odyssey. |

What is an SBC?
Sequoias are clunky, gas guzzling, suburban turds... Look at the LX or GX Lexus. I love my GX and my Subaru Forester CVT for what it’s worth... They are warrantied up to 100K. |
Yeah, start digging into WHY Subaru had to extend those warranties up to 100k from from 36k. (Hint: NO car maker just voluntarily extends warranty coverage on existing vehicles out of the goodness of their heart. They do so because there's a huge problem, and are trying very hard to mitigate it and not anger 15-35% of the owners of their current production vehicles. That 15-35% figure, coincidentally, is the percentage of CVT's they anticipate failing before 100k, too. Magic how that works out, isn't it? ) |
