F*ck I'm so sorry OP.

OP do not lose faith! You are 40 and getting pregnant! That in itself is awesome news! Better to know now than later that the baby will not make it. Stay the course!!

OP, I donMt want to bring your hopes up, but at 5w and 5d all the doctor could see through a vaginal us was a yolk sack and that’s it. I went again 4-5 days after and we were able to see it all including the flicker (heart beat). It might be that you are early and your sack is measuring bigger for whatever reason. At the first us the doctor told me it was too early to tell. How good was your dr.’s machine? Mine was not great

I'm so sorry, OP. How accurate are you dates? Was this IVF?

I’ve been temping so I am very sure of my dates. This was a spontaneous pregnancy after two mmc this past year and a failed ivf cycle.

It was a pretty clear picture. But I am praying for a miracle.

I'm so sorry OP. From 37-38, I went through 2 blighted ovums and 1 ectopic. I'm now pregnant with #4 and I've seen the heartbeat but I haven't told anyone. I know its hard but if you're getting pregnant on your own and you can muster the strength to keep trying, that 1 sticky bean is out there.

So sorry OP but praying for you. Curious - did they give any explanation for the first two MCs other than bad luck?

Thank you. Didn’t test first mmc, second mmc was chromosomal. Looks like I’ll be having my third consecutive miscarriage, confirmed blighted ovum. Want to take misoprostol, but it sounds like experiences vary from not so bad to agonizing, massive blood loss. I’m terrified.
