gigi is more modelesque for sure but these new models don't seem to have the same glamour as the ones in the 80s and early 90s.

I think Kendall Jenner is an excellent model.

She is tall, thin + has great bone structure too.

She has a beautiful face & is amazing on the catwalk.

I think GiGi Hadid is a better model however.
Much prettier.

Gisele has a great body, but her face looks like a horse.
I could never understand why she was the highest paid model.

I think Kai Gerber is also much lovelier than Kendall.
I think she can deserve the title “Supermodel” before Kendall Jenner however.

Agreed with you on everything else except on calling Gisele's face a horse. Not cool. Look, I agree all of us have an opinion what is a true canonic beauty is and a have a few popular faces plus bodies I find extremely unattractive but well received by the majority and I just stick to the faces and bodies I prefer personally. I think Kendall is gorgeous, has a great body, BUT not a talented model.

The question is does being beautiful make you a model?

Any beautiful person can stand and pose like Kendall.

Modeling used to be a career where someone honed their skills. Kendall isn't a career model. It is one of the things she does in life.

Both Gigi and Kendall's Modeling careers are because they are pretty and from from rich and famous families. They hae name recognition and a fan base. Very different from what used to lead to supermodels.
