Wake Me Up When September Ends came out a year after my father died, in September.
Tears in Heaven, it came out when I was a teenager. It was a sad song at the time, but now, as a parent, I ugly cry as soon as I hear it.
The Christmas Shows song too!

To the PP who said Let It Be, I actually find that one very comforting. It’s amazing how powerful music is.
