Most of the posts about from people with questions about getting vaccine -- currentl locations, thimerosol free etc. That should taper off in about a week, as the people who care the most/have high risk kids etc. are able to locate the vaccine that they want. After that, it'll just be people posting questions abut sick kids, for another wek or two, then it'll all be over. |

I will probably set up a flu forum, but there are a few problems with it. I have to wait until there a few users on the system since I will have to move existing threads. It's tricky to do that when people are posting to the threads. Also, that is going to take a lot of time to find and move the threads. I'll try to set this up in the morning because I don't want to stay up late tonight (I actually think I'm coming down with the flu, so I need sleep).

I think it's only temporary, as someone will definitely post something like this: DH and I are fighting. I call it Swine Flu; he refers to it as H1N1. Should I divorce him? |
| Or can I have sex with the swine flu or can I catch the swine flu from having sex with DH. It really is just a matter of time... |
| Half the posters wont post in the appropriate forum. Their swine flu question will end up in the food forum because they think it has something to do with ham or bacon. |
| I was thinking the same thing, I am sick of weeding through swine flu posts. I mean I understand the need to share information on a medical issue, but it is too much right now |
| Did you mean I can catch the swine flu if I eat pork? OMG. I better go out and get a shot before all the kids and high priority groups use it up. |

Oh mah gawd. Yes. I mean, I'm interested in vaccination stuff and swine flu info and I got the vax for my(pregnant/asthmatic)self and my DD, and even *I* cannot bear the number of threads right now about H1N1. And then Jeff agrees to hook us up, but it could take a while, why? Because the poor SOB might have swine flu!!
Not to laugh at your sickness, Jeff -- I hope you feel better soon -- but this is turning into theater of the absurd. |
