Do the numbers listed in this article make sense?

i was just in lisbon for 6 weeks, have family there, and go there 2x a year.

if you have kids and care about education it is not fair to compare lisbon international schools to dc privates/big3 or w-schools/langley, tj, etc.

education in portugal k-12 is better than in spain but it isn't great.

lisbon is fantastic though - only two issues. too much diesel usage kills the air quality, too many people smoke cigs.

i don't think many dc urban moms and dads with striving kids would like living there - retiring there is a different story

We were very comfortable living on $300k and never really changed our lifestyle when our incomes went well past that. Our net worth soared and it made retiring very easy.
