| I’m an American with one of those button noses and I hate it. It looks infantile. I have always appreciated the majesty of the big nosed. |
Wow. She is genuinely striking |

I have a completely ordinary nose but I have always coveted the Lady Gaga type nose. Just another way of saying, somebody wants what you wish you didn't have.
In Brazil, I understand my butt would be admired! |

Natasha McElhone is another I've always to be so strikingly beautiful:

| Nothing worse than a little dainty or piggie nose on a man or woman. Strong nose = strong personality. |
| I also like prominent, not huge, but shapely noses. |

“Iran has the highest rate of nose surgery in the world per capita” More than Americans! |

I always liked Isabella Rossellini's nose. It's not big by any means, just untouched by surgery and a tad bigger than what today's standard seems to be (anime tiny noses).
It's so elegant, in the same way Audrey Hepburn's is.

Agree. In some cultures the more ethnic the nose the better. It identifies you as a member of that culture. These cultures embrace these noses and don't want Anglo features. There is a sense of pride in these characteristics. |

That’s really interesting. Apparently a reaction to the face/nose bring the primary feature women are allowed to show. Although in the 70s, when European dress was allowed in public, there were plenty of nose jobs too. OP, if it bothers you have you considered a nose job? |
