IUI — Where did you go?

Why don't you get the fibroids removed? My insurance didn't cover any infertility but did cover fibroids. I had them removed at CFA, and it was a complicated case (in uterine wall, lots of endo, etc). I got multiple opinions b/f removing them & every RE agreed that not removing them would make fertility treatments pretty much useless and if I somehow did get pregnant, the fibroids could risk the pregnancy. I had a quick recovery & did IVF my next cycle and got pregnant. I'd definitely get the fibroids out! Oh & I did try IUIs but none worked

OP here - To PP 13:28...congratulations on your pregnancy and thank you for letting me know about your experience with fibroids! It makes me hopeful.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Frankfurter at GW, so fingers crossed that I will also have a positive outcome.
