When he is in the crate during the day for above mentioned reasons, he has toys, blankets and depending on the weather, water. But he is not in there for more than about 1 hour to 90 mins max.

I don't understand these people giving their dogs cheese and peanut butter. That is really unhealthy and the dog will get fat and farty.

We have given our dog a peanut butter Kong every workday of his life and he is neither fat nor farty. It’s a small amount.

How old is he?

2 years old and we have had him since he was a puppy. He has been at the same weight since he stopped growing around 11 months.

He is very young still. You will need to cut it out when he is a senior and slowing down.

A few old towels that she turns into a nest. A tennis ball if she needs to chew on something.

I don't leave my dog in a crate nor did he ever have a crate and he doesn't have any toys. Nothing is ever destroyed or touched when I come home. And he is a Golden that used to chew up everything. He makes his own "cave" when he puts his head under my bed and he likes his spot.

Honest question from European. I have never heard before of these peanut butter kongs? What on earth is that? How did someone come up with feeding peanut butter to dogs? Dogs are scavengers, but I am pretty sure they are not finding peanut butter in the wild. We are fond of apricot jam in my country, but I never thought to feed it to my dog. Seriously, why PB for dogs?
