New celebrity low? Sophia Abraham.

I don't watch the show, but how is the picture posted indicative of abuse? The child looks like a pageant kid... Plenty of parents dress up their kids like this.

The both of them. I am reluctant to criticize a child, but YIKES!

I don't think we're criticizing a child. At least I'm not. I am expressing concern at the value system Farrah is imparting on an impressionable child. A 9 year old does not need makeup. A little swipe of lipstick maybe? Could be okay. A full face of makeup? No.

That kid is going to be like Drew Barrymore when she grew up -no childhood, no stability or routine, going to adult events, no good role models, and soon she'll be vaping and drinking by age 12.
She'll need years of therapy and rehab to compensate. I feel sad for her.

This. Plus someone has to challenge her parenting and who would do that?

It’s not but sanctimommies parent differently.

I remember when she was first born the people at ONTD used to call her Chicken Nugget Head. I didn't see it then but I do now... looks just like an one of the oddly shaped McNuggets!

That's what I was going to say. She looks like any little girl in the South that you'd come across at a 3-star hotel on the weekend. It's seriously creepy and not my cup of tea, but pageant moms probably think the same of me, a soccer mom.

My sister did pageants when we were kids and loved it. When she wasn't doing a pageant, she played pageant and used to bribe me with candy to let her do makeovers on me. I wasn't allowed candy because I was a chubster and oddly enough, backstage at most pageants was like a Dylan's Candy Bar. Just a sea of free sugar to get the girls hyped up and totally wired.
