| I reached this site because I had the same problem. I read all the suggestions but didn't work. I tried to poke with a toothpick. I realized some valve moved inside. When you use this bottle at the very first time, you need to try to pour by putting the bottle upside down, not the normal way of tilting bottle. Try this way. It worked for me. Now it flows smoothly upside down way or tilting way. |

| I gave up after finally getting the top piece of plastic off with a knife and finding that that wasn't the cap (I think). Maybe my husband can figure it out. Won't buy it again. Ouch my hand! |

Yep. That's the secret: put the bottle in position and then smack the bottom. That opens it up and you're good to go for the duration of the bottle. |
