How do I open my Bellucci Olive Oil?? Please help a newbie!

Yeah, I'm an idiot. We'll get that out of the way.

I even Googled it, but there is nothing on their website. The cap screws open, but there is no hole in the plastic lid thing. Do I cut a hole in there with a knife?

I normally just get olive oil where the cap screws out and the oil comes out. What am I doing wrong??

You can break open too.

No the bottle maker is the idiot - I am having the exact same problem. And the you tube videos do not help. The bottle is Bellucci Italian Organic and it has this weird top that does not screw off. Are you supposed to stab it with a pick and what pick would some one just happen to have?

Can you post a picture here? I think it is a non-refillable cap. It has a bearing or valve inside. Hold it in the position you want to pour with your left hand and give it a smack with your right hand. That will dislodge the valve.

remove it. put a knife between the plastic and glass and wiggle open and out.

So, did anything work?

Put it in another bottle with a spout. The olive oil world doesn't let their oil rot in the bottle it can in.

suggestion made above .....hitting the bottom of the bottle in pour position works. Really does. Lol

Same problem with two bottles fMassimo Gusto brand organic.. can't separate to unscrew the metal. One bottle had skirting, which I removed --with same metal cap underneath, I had trouble with, originally.
