having a dream that you’re in a relationship with someone other than your spouse is jarring!!

Many years ago I fantasized about a co-worker. I ended up marrying him and the actual sex was far better than the dream sex which was pretty darn good. It's one of the few secrets I have kept from him.

Hasn't it been reported that men think about sex something like every 30 minutes? It can't all be about their spouses so dream on ladies!

I have dreams like this from time to time even though I’m very happy in my marriage! I feel like DH can read my mind and tell I had the dream though and I feel guilty about it. But it’s funny!

No, that’s the thing! It was like an intense EMOTIONAL dream! What does this mean?!?

It’s symbolic. Don’t read into it too much.

I had a dream where I was trying to rekindle things with an ex. Then, late in the dream I remember that I’m married to the best woman in the world. I woke up feeling like crap. No dream hussies for me.

It's a dream. My dream of having sex with coworker was me 1) being horny and 2) thinking about sex today and 3) having noticed said coworker spending a lot of time with another coworker the day before. A lot of dreams are junk dreams (like that one I had last night ... and by junk I mean just your brain cleaning out or something) or like PP said, symbolic. I've had dreams about storms and drowning and excessive obstacles in my way, all when I'm emotionally frustrated and stressed. Those are clearly my brain telling me I'm in over my head and I need to get ahold of things.

Just enjoy it.

My version of that dream is always a plane crash dream.

Oh, yeah, I've had those, too. Not lately. I must have gotten my life together. Now I'm dreaming about sex.

If it weren't for dreams my almost sexless marriage would be intolerable.

I dream about cheating on my DH all the time. It's very strange, it's always an ex-bf, a coworker, a woman, or the other night it was Ryan Reynolds (sometimes other celebrities)! I have never been with another woman and unfortunately I have never been with Ryan Reynolds... I never tell him about them. What's really strange is that DH has dreams about me cheating on him and being very flippant about it. I would never cheat on my DH and I'm actually a bit of a prude, so both types of dreams are very out of character!

It is your brain telling you you are less of a prude than you think you are. Getting it on, baby.

Who knows what it means. I am in an emotionally and physically fulfilling and monogamous relationship, and I have these dreams from time to time. I enjoy them and that's it.

In DW's dreams I'm always the one doing the cheating. She'll be mad at me for days after.

If she's mad at you for having an "affair" you might as well have a real one given you're already taking the heat.
