No VIP parking at Jiffy Lube Live. Is this going to be awful?

Also, the bathrooms were fine. I think a lot of it has to do with what kind of artist is playing. Pentatonix doesn’t bring a rowdy, drunk crowd.

It's too bad you didn't get to see the end of the show. That's the benefit of concerts in the city - traffic out of the Verizon Center is pretty simple.

Nah, I've seen Bohemian Rhapsody by them before. Also, our last experience out of Verizon was a nightmare. I really think it's concert dependent.

Either take the metro or park 4 blocks away.

Problem solved.

Cuz it's on a 2 lane country road in the middle of deliverance country.

That, and too stupid to GAF. Never mind that interest is waning, and those jobs won't be around much longer.

The whole staff disappears one hour in. No thanks.

We left after the 2nd to last song (could still hear as we were walking out). We made it to our car and were home in Arlington in 33 minutes. All lanes out of the venue were directed to 66. It was actually quite amazing. I'm glad I upgraded parking b/c it was seriously easier than any recent event I've attended anywhere!!

We had VIP parking, access and seats Saturday night. It was like a dream. Lesson is to never ever go to JLL without parking.

Have been there numerous times, and besides the lengthy wait to exit the parking lot, it's an outdoor venue just like all the other outdoor venues. The only reason you go there is to listen to music and get drunk anyway. As far as the parking goes, you can park a mile down the road and then take an uber or taxi.

This was not our experience at all.

+1. I hate this venue. DH calls it “redneck Wolftrap”. I wish their was another nice venue in the DMV midway in size between Wolftrap and Nats Park. As it is, there are a lot of concerts I want to see and don’t. Because ick.

It really isn’t. Putting aside the fact that it is terribly run, I have never been to a concert that has not been full of extremely drunk rednecks. It’s as bad as a Trump rally over there.

Just like a Caps game. Park 4 or so blocks away (we do the surface lot at (9th & I) and it's fine.

Looking at the line up for the rest of the summer, there will be a lot of concerts full of drunk people. However, the one with Niall Horan won't be like that just like Pentatonix drew a different crowd. I would be surprised if Imagine Dragons was a redneck concert, either, since I knew about 10 families who attended and that would definitely not be their scene. You need to be selective about what you see, but it the artist you enjoy is there, it's fine.

We went to Imagine Dragons (last minute tix, no parking so exit was a nightmare, yet still) the crowd and concert were awesome.
VIP everything for Keith Urban and Kelsea Ballerini and the entire experience, concert, crowd, access, all exceptional.
We have premier parking for Niall Horan and Maren Morris and expect that will be awesome as well.
